This is THE place to go if you’re sweet tooth is calling for a Caribbean rum cake and other delicious desserts. Not only are the cakes AMAZING (you’ll see the way I can’t keep from taking bites in the episode), but the story of this Black-owned bakery is even better! They started as a fundraiser and have been responsible for THOUSANDS of school children pursuing higher education & have been a cornerstone of the city as well as multiple farmers’ markets and households across the US thanks to nationwide shipping!
