Things You Probably Didn't Know About the Oscars

2020 was particularly tough on the film industry. On Sunday, April 25th, we'll honor the movies, actors, and production teams with the 93rd Academy Awards. Thanks to my friends at Wallet Hub, the 2021 Oscars Fact Sheet was released and there are a ton of things that will blow your mind about the upcoming show & shows past.

After I combed through the site, here are some of the things that took me by surprise about the show:

IT COULD COST AN A-LIST ACTRESS UP TO $10 MILLION FOR HER LOOK FOR THE SHOW

LESLIE ODOM, JR. IS FOURTH PERSON, AND FIRST MAN TO RECEIVE ACTING AND SONG NOMINATIONS FOR THE SAME FILM (ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI)

  • THE RED CARPET IS 50,000 SQUARE FEET AND COSTS $24.7 THOUSAND
