Kanye plans to create a fashion show with homeless people modeling the clothes.
The idea came when David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week, met with “Ye” while he was recording for his upcoming Donda 2 album in LA’s Art District, nearby Skid Row.
The two discussed a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collab and fashion show. Sebastian already donates a portion of the proceeds from his Skid Row line to help the homeless and his factory employs the homeless. What I love about this is that the Yeezy collab will use 100% of the proceeds to help the homeless on Skid Row.
The idea to include homeless fashion were also kicked around, including the possibility of a trash bag puffer jacket.
