Want the outfit Gigi Hadid wore in her last selfie? Or how about Kendall Jenner’s? Well, you kinda can ….
I wanted to share two really cool ways women are stepping up and coming together in some really cool ways.
23 models are working with British Vogue to auction off some of their quarantine looks and all the proceeds go to the NAACP, which works to eliminate race-based discrimination, and NHS charities, which support healthcare workers caring for COVID-19 patients.
Ashley Graham, Bella & Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kate Moss are among the 23 models participating in this cause and the coolest part is all the items worn will be featured in a spread in the July 2020 issue of British Vogue.
Another way women are coming together is handing over their Instagram accounts to Black women to expand the reach of their voices.
The movement was called #sharethemicnow and white women like Brené Brown, Elizabeth Warren, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and many more handed their Instagram accounts over to several Black business women, CEOs, philanthropists etc.
This wasn’t something that just happened for one day either and I think we’ll be seeing more & more of this to come!
