How To Get Your Luggage Quicker After A Flight

The absolute worst feeling we all face is the agonizing wait at the luggage carousel after your already agonizingly long flight. What if I told you I found out the best way to make sure that struggle never happens again?

We spoke to experts and you'll be shocked to know our findings! Our expert says your best option is to be among the last passengers to check your bags. The reason for this is that bags will always be loaded on the bag carts from front to back. This does not, however, imply that you must check in last, as this might aggravate early arrivals at the airport.

Our experts say you should do this instead; when arriving to the airport, you should try asking the counter agent politely if they will allow you to check your bag at the gate as it is the best way to ensure that it gets to you the quickest when you land. It's also important to remember to show consideration for your gate and counter agents as well. The likelihood of achieving your goals increases with your friendliness as they most likely spent their day getting yelled at for things that were out of their control.

Another misconception is that tying something to your luggage will help you locate it faster, but it will only make it harder for your bag to be scanned and will then be manually checked which will then take a longer process.

We hope these tips will guide you through your next airport dilemmas!
