We used to live in such a simple time once..You could just go to your local McDonalds and rely on the fact that you KNOW they have a 2 for $3 deal on their cheeseburgers, but since we live in 2024 fast food menus are constantly changing and with that so are their menu prices. This may not seem like a problem if you're someone who can make a purchase without checking if you have the funds. For others like myself, I am always looking to get a better bang for my buck because it's not always easy making it to your next paycheck.
Taco Bell feels your pain, and decided to make it easier to find those deals by introducing the "Name Your Price" feature on it's app!
Now, it’s not exactly what you think. You can't just pay whatever you choose for what you want. Instead, Taco Bell’s app allows you to cap the dollar amount you’d like to spend and then it generates several mix-and-match menu items for you to choose from.
Users can set a dollar amount anywhere from $5 to $25. You can also pin items to your order. So the feature will only random the items that you did not pin.
Though this sounds amazing drinks, freezes, combos, boxes, party packs, Meal for 2, Meal for 4, sauces, Passes, and Early Access products are not shown in the tool. That sort of eliminates a large chunk of the Taco Bell menu but we still love the idea! And we love that Taco Bell remains steadfast in feeding Americas teens, college students and of course stoners for an affordable price!
