The only way Dan + Shay think they can top their success in 2019 is by traveling to the moon in 2020. No, seriously. This duo is adding a trip into space to their 2020 bucket list. While chatting with Danielle and Gandhi from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, Dan + Shay opened up about their amazing year and what's next for them.
The country crooners kicked off the year by winning a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for 'Tequila' and ended with another nomination for 'Speechless.' "It's crazy to hear it out loud," Dan said. "It's surreal. We still haven't processed last year's Grammy win."
In addition to their Grammy nod, Dan + Shay are about to embark on another huge tour in 2020. If they can't get to the moon in 2020, they hope, at the very least, their puts them on Lizzo's radar. Just like Dan + Shay, we'll keeping our fingers crossed for a collaboration with the 'Good As Hell' singer.
Even though they've already teamed up with Justin Bieber for their sweet ballad '10,000 Hours,' Dan + Shay revealed they'd be down to work with him again, as well. "He's got the coolest voice in music and he's a really sweet guy," the explained.
Here's an idea: Justin, Lizzo and Dan + Shay should all collaborate in 2020. Then they should put together a performance on the moon.
