Lewis Capaldi Says Niall Horan Is 'Too Handsome' To Be A Good Wingman

Danielle and Gandhi got to hang out with "one of the funniest artists" they know in the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on Friday (December 13). Not only did Lewis Capaldi absolutely smash it with his music in 2019, he constantly made them LOL with his hilarious Instagram Stories. He brought his signature sense of humor to Jingle Ball, too, of course.

First topic of conversation was his first Grammy nomination for Song of the Year for his hit song 'Someone You Loved.' While Lewis is obviously excited about the recognition, he told Danielle and Ghandi he knows he's "not going to win." The Song of the Year category is super competitive this year, including nominations for fellow Jingle Ball artists Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello. If he does lose, however, he plans to troll viewers by refusing to clap. Instead he's going to yell, throw a fit and start drinking.

Things really got interesting when Lewis's friendship with Niall Horan came up. The dynamic duo, along with Fletcher, are hitting the road for an arena tour in 2020. While Lewis admits he's hoping to meet some ladies out on the road, he told Danielle and Ghandi that Niall is "too much of a Lothario and too handsome" to be a good wingman. "When they reach for the stars to get Niall, I'll be there to catch them" when it doesn't work out, Lewis joked, so that's a silver lining.

After Danielle and Gandhi prompted Lewis to spill some tea about Niall that will dampen his dating prospects, Lewis joked that the 'Slow Hands' singer "smells and he's got a problem with pissing himself. He may look like the perfect man, but that man farts."

And that's the tea on Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan's LOL-worthy friendship.
