Before heading back home for their first real winter break in a long time, Why Don't We dropped by our All Access Lounge presented by Poland Spring.
After a busy year, supporting their debut album, 8 Letters, the band caught up with Z100 New York's Mo' Bounce at the Montefiore Interview Room to talk about what's next: some sleep and some time at home.
"We've been around the whole world in 2019," Jonah Marais said. "I think we did like 94 shows, 92 shows on our tour, something like that. ...Yeah, it was crazy."
"We're going to have our longest break that we've ever had... five months or something," added Jack Avery.
The band members added that they won't be taking it easy the whole time; they'll be writing and recording to have new material ready for their return next spring.
The former iHeartRadio Music Awards 'Fan Fave New Artist' nominees didn't slow down after releasing 8 Letters. In 2019 alone, they've dropped a crop of singles, including "I Don't Belong in This Club" with Macklemore, "What I Am" and the timely "With You This Christmas."
Why Don't We hasn't announced its next tour yet, but you can follow them here for updates.
