Mark Ambor Watches 'The Grinch' Alone Every Year At Christmas

The holidays are a time for family, friends and celebration, but Mark Ambor has his own pre-holiday ritual that includes nobody else.

Speaking to Crystal Rosas backstage at our Z100 All Access Lounge presented by Smashburger, Ambor revealed that he likes to start each year's festivities as a party of one.

"Every Christmas Eve, I watch The Grinch alone and I wrap presents — Jim Carrey version," Ambor revealed. "It's my own little party."

Despite his busy year of releasing music and playing shows, Ambor says he'll be back home for his usual routine. He really appreciates the alone time and the opportunity to recharge his batteries.

"We just got back from the first leg of the North American tour. It's been just such an incredible year," he explained. "Last year at this time I was kind of still in my parent's basement just grinding away on music. For it to change, kind of, in the course of a year is really just insane. The album coming out, the tours, this. It's just been so cool."

Ambor's debut album, Rockwood, arrived this past summer.
