Demi Lovato has agreed to go to rehab, TMZ reports.
The pop star is currently in the hospital, recovering from a drug overdose she suffered last week, and subsequent complications. Sources told TMZ that Lovato's family spoke with her about checking into treatment after she started feeling better, and she is consenting. According to one source, she'll be leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Center "any day now" and will go straight to a live-in rehab facility, though the details of which one have yet to be revealed.
Earlier this week, TMZ reported those close to the "Sober" singer were going to give her an ultimatum: get help or lose some close relationships. At least one person who works for the 25-year-old star said she would quit if Lovato decides not to get help. "She could die if she doesn't, and that's not going to be on my watch that we did nothing," the source said.
Lovato was found unconscious in her bed her Hollywood Hills home following a night of partying on July 24. She would not say what drugs she took, but Narcan was used to save her life, which reverses the effects of opioids.
