Lewis Capaldi Credit Card Was Declined While Out With Sam Smith

Lewis Capaldi is the Scottish, Italian, red-head we've been missing in our lives. His latest single, "Someone You Loved," off his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent and it is just amazing. After being covered by the Jonas Brothers on BBC, Lewis stepped into the Elvis Duran Show to perform their song, "Sucker."

In his interview with Elvis Duran on Thursday June 6th, Lewis jokingly admits that Kevin, Nick and Joe are the reason he may be able to move out of his mother's house. He explains that the purchases for his single shot up after the band performed his song, putting more money in his pocket.

Speaking of money...... Lewis admitted to a time where he was out with Sam Smith and his credit card got declined! He was feeling like a big shot buying rounds of drinks for Sam and his friends however chaos ensued when he went to pay the bill. What happened? His credit card got declined. In order for Sam Smith not to notice, Lewis quickly asked his pianist for his credit card.

You can hear this story and Lewis Capaldi sing Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" below! His record breaking album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent is out now!
